Dear Members and Friends of MCF,
ျမန္မာခရစ္ယာန္မိတ္သဟာယ အသင္းသူ/သားမ်ားနွင့္ မိတ္ေဆြမ်ား

Prayer:
God has blessed America in many ways and in less than four weeks we are going to be electing many leaders including president. Take a moment right now to pray for God's will to be done. Also, pray for more people to come to know Christ as savior and follow Him as Lord.  (This is the same prayer as last week, but I want us all to be praying for God's hand on this country we share.)

 ဘုရားသခင္ကဒီအေမရိကားႏိူင္ငံကိုေကာင္းႀကီးအမ်ိဳးမ်ိဳးေပးထားၿပီးသကာလ၊ လာမယ့္ေလးပတ္အတြင္း သမၼတအပါဝင္ ေခါင္းေဆာင္ပိုင္းေရြးေကာက္ပြဲက်င္းပမွာျဖစ္တဲ့အတြက္၊ ဘုရားသခင္ကၿပီးေျမာက္ေအာင္ပို႔ေဆာင္ေပးဖို႔ႏွင့္ လူအမ်ားဘုရားသခင္အားပိုမိုသိရွိၿပီး ကယ္တင္ရွင္အျဖစ္လက္ခံႏိုင္ဖို႔ရာ ဆုေတာင္းျခင္းျဖင့္ပါဝင္ၾကပါစို႔။

Last Sunday:
Attendance (October 14): 54 including 8 children.

 လြန္ခဲ့တဲ့တစ္ပတ္ ဝတ္ျပဳအစည္းေဝးတက္ေရာက္သူ ခေလး ၈ ေယာက္အပါဝင္ ၅၄ ဦး

King David says that he loves God and that God is his strength.  We looked again at Psalm 18:1 and saw that God does not want to give a boost to OUR strength.  He wants to BE our strength!  As long as we think we can do it ourselves, God can not BE our strength because we will be trusting ourselves and not Him.
  ဒါဝိဒ္ရွင္ဘုရင္ႀကီးက ထာဝရဘုရားကိုခ်စ္တဲ့အေၾကာင္းႏွင့္ ထာဝရဘုရားဟာသူ႔ခြန္အားျဖစ္တည္ရာျဖစ္ေၾကာင္းဆိုပါတယ္။ ဆာလံ ၁၈ း ၁ မွာဘုရားသခင္က ကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႔ကိုခြန္အားတိုးေစခ်င္တာမဟုတ္ပဲ၊ ကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႔ရဲ့ခြန္အားျဖစ္ခ်င္တာျဖစ္ေၾကာင္း။ မိမိကိုယ္ကိုအားကိုးယံုၾကည္ၿပီး၊ ကိုယ္စဥ္းစားေတြးေတာႏိုင္သမ်ွ စြမ္းေဆာင္ႏိုင္တယ္ဆိုတဲ့အေတြးရွိေနသမွ် ဘုရားသခင္ဟာကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႔ရဲ့ခြန္အားမျဖစ္ႏိုင္ေၾကာင္းေတြ႔ရပါတယ္။
We looked at what our survey said about this Newsletter.

 ကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႔ survey မွ ဒီ Newsletter ႏွင့္ပတ္သက္ၿပီး ရလာဒ္မ်ားေစ့စစ္ခဲ့ၾကပါတယ္။

We enjoyed a special solo as part of our worship music.
 ဝတ္ျပဳအစည္းေဝးမွာ တစ္ပင္တိုင္ဂုဏ္ေတာ္ခ်ီးမြမ္းျခင္းႏွင့္ ၿမိဳင္ဆိုင္ခဲ့ပါတယ္။
San San and her mom brought chicken soup for us all to share after the service.  It was in honor of San San's birthday which was on Sunday this year.

 အစည္းေဝးအၿပီးမွ San San တို႔သားအမိထံမွ ၾကက္သားဆန္ျပဳတ္ကိုျမိဳင္ဆိုင္စြာသံုးေဆာင္ခဲ့ၾကပါတယ္။
English class was postponed to next week, October 28th.
 အဂၤလိပ္စာ/စကားသင္တန္းကို တန္႔ထားခဲ့ရပါတယ္။
The youth group met in a home at seven o'clock. I'm not sure whose home but our thanks to them for their hospitality.

 လူငယ္ဝတ္ျပဳအစည္းေဝးကို ညပိုင္း ၇ နာရီမွာက်င္းပျဖစ္ခဲ့ၾကပါတယ္။ လက္ခံေကၽြးေမြးတဲ့ အိမ္ရွင္မ်ားအားလည္းေက်းဇူးတင္ရွိပါတယ္။

This Sunday:
Dr. Khai will be with us on October 21st. and will be bringing the sermon.

Dr. Khai လည္းပဲဒီတစ္ပတ္မွာ ကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႔ဆီလာေရာက္မွာျဖစ္ၿပီး ဝိညာဥ္ခြန္အားတိုက္ေကၽြးသြားမွာျဖစ္ပါတယ္။
English class will resume after the service on October 28th.

 ဒီတစ္ပတ္ အဂၤလိပ္သင္တန္းကို ဆက္လက္သြားဖို႔ျဖစ္ပါမယ္။

Looking Ahead: 
 
When William (William Dal) was home on leave, he suggested that it would be good to start a Sunday School since we have a number of children who could attend.  We will discuss this at our next church meeting on the 21st of October.
  Sunday School ဖြင့္လစ္ဖို႔ ဆရာ William မွအႀကံေပးတင္ျပခဲ့ပါတယ္။ ထိုအတြက္ကိုေနာင္ အသင္းေတာ္အစည္းအေဝးမွဆက္လက္ေဆြးေႏြးဖို႔ျဖစ္ပါမယ္။
Several special guests have agreed to come to our November 11 weekend third anniversary celebration. (I believe one of them is Dr. James Singzakhai who did such a nice job for us last year) Plan to be here and invite a friend.  Details next week.

Notes:
Our pastor, Dr. Khai, has written a book.  It has been published (printed).   God is using Dr. Khai and we pray that God will use this book to minister to many.
 
We want to encourage everyone to be reading their Bible every day. So, we are providing a reading list we can all use. Copies are available in the display rack at the back of the room where we have the service. Reading may be done in any language Bible.
အေရာက္စီတိုင္းကိုေန႔စဥ္ က်မ္းစာဖတ္ဖို႔အားေပးလိုပါတယ္။ ဒီ့အတြက္ က်မ္းစာဖတ္နည္းလမ္းညြန္မ်ားလည္းေပးေဝခဲ့ၿပီးျဖစ္ၿပီး၊ ေနာက္ထပ္ မိတ္တူမ်ားလည္းေတာင္းယူလို႔ရပါတယ္။

Have you been baptized since you asked Jesus to be your Savior? If not talk to Pastor or an other leader if you are interested in obeying the Lord Jesus by being baptized.
