Prayer:
Do you know someone who needs to be encouraged?  Take a moment right now and pray that God will help them through their problems.  As soon as you can call or write them and tell them you prayed for them.

အားေပးဖို႔လိုေနသူ တစ္ေယာက္ေယာက္ကို သိေနလား? ေခတၱမ်ွေသာ အခ်ိန္ကိုေပးၿပီး ထိုသူအတြက္ဆုေတာင္းေပးပါ၊ ၿပီးေတာ့ သင္ထိုသူ႔အတြက္ ဆုေတာင္းေပးတဲ့အေၾကာင္းအေၾကာင္းၾကားပါ။
Last Sunday:
Attendance (January 20): 46 including 9 children

We looked at Deuteronomy 8:1-5 and saw that God allows us to have problems for four reasons: to humble us. to test us, to teach us, and to discipline us.  All of these remind us that we need him in our lives and we need to trust him more.

တရားေဟာရာက်မ္း ၈

၁သင္သည္အသက္ရွင္၍ မ်ားျပားမည္အေၾကာင္း၊ ထာဝရဘုရားသည္ သင္၏ဘုိးေဘးတို႔အား က်ိန္ဆုိေတာ္ မူေသာ ျပည္သို႔သြား၍ ဝင္စားမည္အေၾကာင္း၊ ယေန႔ငါမွာထားေသာ ပညတ္အလုံးစုံတို႔ကို က်င့္ေဆာင္အံ့ေသာငွာ သတိျပုရမည္။ ၂သင္၏ဘုရားသခင္ ထာဝရဘုရားသည္ သင့္ကိုႏွိမ့္ခ်စုံစမ္း၍၊ ပညတ္ေတာ္တုိ႔ကို က်င့္ခ်င္ေသာစိတ္ ရွိသည္မရွိသည္ကို သိမည္အေၾကာင္း၊ လြန္ခဲ့ၿပီးေသာ အႏွစ္ေလးဆယ္ ပတ္လုံးေတာ၌ ပို႔ေဆာင္ေတာ္မူေသာ လမ္းခရီးတေရွာက္လုံးကိုေအာက္ေမ့ရမည္။ ၃ထုိသို႔သင့္ကိုႏွိမ့္ခ်၍ အငတ္အမြတ္ခံေစေတာ္မူေသာအခါ၊ သင္သည္ကိုယ္တုိင္မသိ၊ သင္၏ဘုိးေဘး မသိဘူးေသာ မႏၷႏွင့္ ေကြၽးေမြး ေတာ္မူသျဖင့္၊ လူသည္ မုန္႔အားျဖင့္သာ အသက္ကို ေမြးရသည္မဟုတ္။ ဘုရားသခင္မိန္႔ေတာ္မူသမွ်အားျဖင့္ အသက္ ေမြးရသည္ကို သိေစေတာ္မူ၏။ ၄လြန္ခဲ့ၿပီးေသာ အႏွစ္ေလးဆယ္ပတ္လုံး သင္ဝတ္ေသာ အဝတ္ မေဟာင္းမႏြမ္း၊ သင့္ေျခလည္းမပြန္းမေရာင္။ ၅အဘသည္ သားကိုဆုံးမသကဲ့သို႔၊ သင္၏ဘုရားသခင္ထာဝရဘုရား သည္ သင့္အားဆုံးမ ေတာ္မူသည္ကို စိတ္ထဲမွာေအာက္ေမ့ရမည္။

 

We had our English lesson. We talked about pronouns and learned a song in English. (see English words below)  

This Sunday: 
Dr. Khai will be with us.  He will share with us from God's word and will be attending the special event for Wesleyan Church Pastors.

 Dr. Khai ဟာလည္းပဲ ကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႔ႏွင့္အတူ ပါရွိၿပီး ေဒသနာေဝငွမွာျဖစ္တယ္၊ ၿပီး သူဟာဆိုရင္ အသင္းအုပ္ဆရာမ်ား အစည္းေဝးကိုတက္ေရာက္ရမွာျဖစ္ပါတယ္။

We will have our prayer time for the folks with birthdays in January.

Looking Ahead:
Jesus is coming again.  We will look at what the Bible says about that Sunday's in February.

 သခင္ေယရႈတစ္ဖန္ၾကႊေရာက္လာေတာ့မွာျဖစ္တယ္။ ထိုအဗာကာင္းအရာမ်ားကို ဒီအပတ္မွာၾကားသိရဖို႔ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။

Ash Wednesday is February 13.  Palm Sunday is March 24.  Easter is March 31.

We want to encourage everyone to be reading their Bible every day. So, we are providing a reading list we can all use. Copies are available in the display rack at the back of the room where we have the service. Reading may be done in any language Bible.

Have you been baptized since you asked Jesus to be your Savior? If not talk to Pastor or an other leader if you are interested in obeying the Lord Jesus by being baptized.
